Returning February 2019
January 30 – February 10, 2019
A winter adventure in Yukon is unlike anything you have ever experienced. It is a very unique opportunity to experience the north in the best of seasons and in complete comfort.
Murray Lundberg and Jeremy Van Dyke share the land they love most with you. With their extensive Yukon winter familiarity, friendships with some very unique local people and love of their traditions, they ensure you enjoy every minute of this truly unique northern discovery.
The Yukon Quest is the toughest sled dog race in the world. Those that compete believe it is not a race for gold or glory, but a personal challenge in dog care and the satisfaction of ‘running a good race.’
Witness this unforgettable challenge as Mushers and their team run a challenging trail through the northern wilderness. They go alone, with no support, facing startling temperatures and brutal conditions to reach their goal, one thousand harrowing miles away.
Dog Sledding on Lake Laberge with a local family who have run the Quest several times, gives you a small taste of the challenge of the race. It is always a guest highlight.
Join us – You will forever remember experiencing the North in its true character, away from the hustle and bustle of the summer tourist season with endless coaches and tourists. Our intimate group of adventurers are usually the only ‘tourists’ in attendance!
