Greenwich is a borough within London, on the southern banks of the River Thames, and the birthplace of Queen Elizabeth I. Most famously known as the site of the Greenwich meridian line, and the home of Greenwich Mean Time, the Royal Observatory sits in the middle of peaceful Greenwich Park. The quaint district also has a notable maritime history which we will explore at the Old Royal Naval College, the National Maritime Museum, and the Cutty Sark – a fully restored 19th century ship. Enjoy the rest of the day to discover the city at your leisure. (B,L,D)AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS

We continue on to Edam, a quiet town populated by historic houses, monuments, canals, and a leaning clock tower. (B,L,D)KIEL, GERMANY
