Welcome to mythical Ponza! Enjoy a day at your leisure to explore this magnificent island created from the remnants of an extinct volcano whose multicoloured rock formations reveal magical blue transparent waters. The beautiful scenery, warm climate and rich history combine to make this island a true paradise on earth. Late in the afternoon, we sail to the uninhabited island of Palmarola to relax on its peaceful and secluded beach. (B,L,D)

Crossing the bay of Naples, with Mount Vesuvius looming in the background, we will arrive in exquisite Sorrento. From here, we make our way to Pompeii to visit the archaeological remains of this famous city, buried by the ash and lava of Vesuvius in 79 AD. After our tour, we venture to a typical farm and taste the local produce during a delicious Neapolitan lunch. We then return to Sorrento for free time in the evening, basking in the subtle aroma of limoncello. (B,L,D))

Stunning Amalfi welcomes you today, the centre of the coast of the same name, and one of the most spectacular coastlines in the world. Villages cling to the mountainside in a patchwork of multicoloured facades over the azure Mediterranean waters. Take a panoramic drive up the mountain from the Amalfi harbour to picturesque Ravello. Not only is the view amazing, but the architecture is unique and beautifully preserved over nine centuries. Enjoy lunch in Ravello before free time in Positano, yet another jewel in the Amalfi crown.
