Iceland Grand Tour

Join us on this authentic summer escape to an island of extremes. As you travel these icy lands, our earth’s impressive volcanic activity will manifest itself in spurts of geothermal energy. Our journey takes the Route 1 Ring Road, which goes around the entire island; the moon-like landscape holds surprises that range from scalding solfataras and geysers to rainbows across majestic waterfalls, arcs of colour over this intensely monochrome land. The Blue Lagoon awaits, where you can bathe in mineral waters as blue as they are hot. Northerly Akureyri will charm you, Siglufjordur and its fjords will beguile, Europe’s largest glacier by 4x4 will awe. From lava fields of deepest black, to glacier-capped volcanoes, this is a journey to be remembered.
