Journey Highlights

With a name meaning “Land of God,” it’s no surprise that the city of Marrakech is filled with luscious gardens, ornate palaces, and vibrant marketplaces. Look out at the still waters of the basin from the pavilion in Menara Garden. Relish the history and architecture of the Saadian Tombs. Mingle in the bustling crowds of Jemaa el-Fna Square. Much like Morocco itself, Marrakech is a place of passion and colour, inviting you to become a part of its history and excitement.

Sahara Slumber

The Sahara Slumber is an experience unlike any you’ve ever had. Journey into the desert to the town of Midelt, enjoying 360° views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and canyons. At Midelt, which is situated between the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountain ranges, transfer to 4x4 as you head from Erfoud to Merzouga. Here, spend the night at La Belle Etoile Bivouacs, a desert camp where the sand is cool and the sky is filled with stars—a truly an unforgettable experience.

Known as the “blue pearl of Morocco,” Chefchaouen is an ancient Moorish/Jewish village nestled in the Rif Mountains. Its buildings are awash in blue, just slightly lighter than the electric blue skies that surround it, creating an atmosphere both vibrant and calming. Wander through the winding alleys, explore the Kasbah Museum, and visit the wash houses where locals hand-wash their laundry. No matter where you go in Chefchaouen, the iconic blue walls, often peppered with colourful flower pots or baskets for sale, provide the perfect backdrop.

The imperial city of Fez

The imperial city of Fez is the second largest city in Morocco, after Casablanca. The city has a lively modern vibe, but the constant hum of its 12-century history is ever present as you wander through ornate gateways and down narrow streets. Visit the Medersa Attarine, Nejjarine fountain, and Moulay Idriss mausoleum before dining on local fare in the heart of the medina. Then, take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the souks, marketplaces that form a labyrinth of culture—luckily, you’ll have a local expert to guide you through the maze of stalls.
