Day 1

DEPART FOR BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS

Enjoy a private car ride to the airport. Guests departing from Toronto airport are assisted with their check-in. Meet your Journey Manager and fellow travellers and board your flight to Bridgetown, Barbados. (D)

Day 2

BRIDGETOWN

Located at the eastern edge of the Windward Islands, Barbados is a nation as rich in coastal beauty as it is historic intrigue. Spend the morning at your leisure relaxing by turquoise pools or exploring pristine beaches before we reconvene to discover the historic Mount Gay Rum Distillery. After enjoying a local Bajan lunch, set off on a tour of the oldest rum distillery in the world, complete with a sampling of award-winning spirits. Following the tour, board the majestic Royal Clipper, your home for the next seven days. All meals will be served on board unless otherwise indicated. (B,L,D)

RODNEY BAY, ST. LUCIA

St. Lucia is the sort of island travellers to the Caribbean dream about, a lush tropical gem that is still relatively unknown to the outside world. Discover this wonderful island as a local tour guide leads us through the sights, smells and tastes of authentic island life. From visiting a traditional Medicinal Herb Garden to tasting local delicacies and learning about traditional Creole headwear, immerse yourself in a living tradition that can be found nowhere else in the world. CABRITS, DOMINICA

Called the "Nature Island," Dominica lives up to its name and more. Beyond the verdant jungles and azure waterfalls that make the island a hotspot for nature enthusiasts, the rich culture of the island makes it uniquely exciting. Experience a guided tour of
Calibishie village after which we are treated to a traditional cultural show and dance by a local performance group. Before returning to our ship, enjoy a discovery walk along the shining coral beaches that make this corner of the world famous. (B,L,D)

FALMOUTH, ANTIGUA

With 365 beaches between the two islands, Antigua and Barbuda offer enough stunning sights for a year-long expedition! Today we meet an experienced guide who takes us to some of Antigua’s most historic sites. Wander through the beguiling ruins of Shirley Heights and feast on the stunning sea-side views of Falmouth Harbour as we make our way finally to Nelson’s Dockyard, Antigua’s largest National Park. BASSETERRE & SOUTH FRIAR’S BAY, ST. KITTS

Hop aboard the St. Kitts Scenic Railway, one of the most beautiful train rides in the world! This engineering marvel, originally constructed to transport sugar cane nearly a century ago, has been refitted with state-of-the-art, double-deck railcars offering unparalleled access to the island. On a route encircling the entire island, glide along tall steel bridges that cross deep canyons, skirt volcanic ridges, and pass through historic communities, including the capital Basseterre. Along the way, enjoy complimentary cocktails as the conductor points out the countless local landmarks that make St. Kitts truly unforgettable. (B,L,D)

TERRE-DE-HAUT, ILES DES SAINTES

Combining unspoiled tropical beauty with luxurious French style, Iles des Saintes are more than just a set of Caribbean islands: they are an oceanic oasis. Located just 10 kilometres south of Guadeloupe, they feel completely removed from the hustle and
bustle of city life. In fact, only two of the islands are inhabited, Terre-de-Haut and Terre-de-Baith, with a combined population of little more than 3,000. This day is yours to explore on your own, swim or just relax with a good book on the beach. (B,L,D)

MARTINIQUE

Lauded as the most enchanting island in the Caribbean, Martinique offers something for everyone, from fine French gastronomy to glimmering white-sand beaches. On our guided tour, we explore the innumerable treasures this magical island has in store. Beginning at Les Trous Ilets, a pottery village built on the site of a former Jesuit Monastery, we encounter the island’s ancient history before making our way to the nearby fishing village of Les Anses d'Arlet, home to the picturesque Church of St. Henry, one of the most photographed sites in all Martinique!

BRIDGETOWN AND HOME

This morning we disembark the Royal Clipper in Bridgetown before enjoying a scenic drive along the beautiful West Coast of the Island. Cherry Tree Hill is our destination, a site offering an awe-inspiring view of the eastern and northern sections of Barbados. Enjoy one last authentic Bajan meal before we bid goodbye to our new friends and make our way to the airport for our flight home. Enjoy our private car to your home. (B,L)
